Camptel Poconos

I have stayed at Camptel Poconos twice during the same season for two consecutive years and I have absolutely loved me time here. I stayed in their studio unit first time. I stayed in Lime and it was my solo trip. I loved all the extra spaces they have built to enjoy your glamping experience. They have hot tubs, community fire pit, gym and sauna. I came back this year in September with my partner for our anniversary trip. Mary Ann went above and beyond to accomodate us. They had a Yankee themed unit and my partner is a big fan so I called to book it but unfortunately they are in the middle of remodeling. Mary Ann welcomed us and told us she would like to upgrade our stay to a one bedroom from studio since it is a special trip. Mary Ann went above and beyond to have the space ready for us with extra towels and sheets/blankets. She checked in to make sure we were comfortable for our whole stay. Mary Ann also showed us how to turn on the propane for the fireplace. That was the only thing I didn’t get to enjoy on my solo trip. I will be back to stay here everytime I visit this region and am so thankful for the extra care Mary Ann provided to us. Thank you for the two wonderful stays Camptel Poconos .

Great getaway if your exploring the area around Jim Thorpe. Short drive up to the boulder field and similarly easy to get to Jim Thorpe. Great communication with the staff when we were arriving after dinner, very clean and dog friendly. Only one of the hot tubs was available and unfortunately it was not working the second night. All in all would definitely recommend this spot!

These cabins are perfect for a weekend getaway. The owner, Marianne, is very kind, accommodating and quick to reply if you need anything. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The cabins were very cozy and well stocked with towels, linens and some toiletries. The propane fire pit was nice since it had rained the day before and we were still able to use it. The location seems secluded which is exactly what we needed but still not too far away from town. Would definitely recommend!

Marianne went above and beyond for us with our last minute booking-her customer service is exceptional! She made sure we had the perfect unit for our stay which included our two small dogs. Check in was effortless and Marianne communicated with us every step of the way. This is such a cool place for a quiet getaway or quick weekend trip. We had the best experience and are already planning our return visit!

Wow, so much to say but honestly not one one bad thing to share, , the property Manager Marianne and her husband are gems!!! From before we checked in and until the moment we checked out everything was great, She was so awesome, her customer service was great and hope she sticks around, we loved our exp. this was our second stay at Camptel and we'll be back next yr as well... This place is exactly what we needed, a place to disconnect but reconnect, be in a quiet environment where we can enjoy nature and in our case the snow, Thank you Camptel, Marianne ( your husband as well) Hope to be back next yr if not sooner

Amazing place to come and enjoy some peace and quiet. Jim thorpe is only 20 minutes away and the drive might sound far for some, but the scenic view is beautiful. The property manager was so sweet and kind and you can definitely tell she took care of the place and valued the guest. She answered all our questions and helped us anyway possible. Will be coming back to the cute little getaway

Just stayed 3 nights in Alice !! Rooms: looks just like the pictures !! We brought a folding table for the living room to do crafts and to place our little grill on we brought a toaster they supply plastic cups paper plates and plastic silverware keep that in mind ! Hot tubs worked and sauna was amazing !! We love it here !! Hostess Marianne was on top of it !!! So nice and friendly anything we needed she was on top of it very informative!!!

A Peaceful, Nature-Filled Getaway at Camptel Our recent stay at Camptel in one of the luxury tiny container homes was a truly lovely experience. As nature lovers, we appreciated the perfect balance of outdoor adventure and indoor comfort. It gave us that camping feel—without sacrificing the modern conveniences we enjoy. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Marianne, whose kindness and hospitality stood out. She took the time to show us around and made sure we were settled in, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The grounds and accommodations were clean, thoughtfully maintained, and inviting. We especially loved the variety of amenities available to help us unwind, including The Dart House, the zen saunas, and the hot tubs—each one added something special to our stay. We came seeking peace and relaxation, and we found exactly that. A heartfelt thank you to Marianne and the entire Camptel staff for creating such a tranquil, hidden gem.
